描述
This program is designed for individuals who want to enter the new and emerging field of 健康 Coaching and 健康 Management. 健康 Coaches facilitate the development of healthy goals including; lifestyle enhancement, 健康营养, improved physical activity and stress reduction. The 健康 Coach takes traditional fitness 和健康 promotion one step further and actively assists clients in social advocacy, 补充疗法, 意义, 人生目标与人生愿景. Students will acquire a strong foundation in science as it relates to human movement and fitness, 行为改变, 和健康. 另外, students will develop skills in assessment and program planning, 实施及监察. Students will have the opportunity to earn 健康 and 健康 Coaching Certification at the local level. An additional certification fee and certification exam is required. Mastery of skills and completion of this program will also help prepare students to become certified by the National Board for 健康 and 健康 Coaching (NBHWC).

3. Assess client wellness within accepted professional standards and within the scope of practice.
4. Evaluate client history in the development of a comprehensive 健康 Program.
5. Evaluate client readiness in the development of a comprehensive 健康 Program
6. Implement comprehensive 行为改变 programs including the cognitive-, 有效的,, and psychomotor-learning domains.
7. Comply with professional standards, 道德, and applicable laws and regulations regarding the practice of 健康 Coaching.
8. Interpret current research in the discipline.
9. Engage in professional associations within the profession.

Requirements for Program Entrance
HS Biology with a grade of C or better, or any lab-based Biology course numbered 120 or higher with a grade of C- or better, 或者导师的许可. 世纪挑战集团 Level 8 Mathematics Placement.
